Men's Health Training Guides App Reviews

Removes purchases

Very disappointed. I bought a year subscription, then changed phones. For some reason the app will not restore my purchase to the new phone. I sent an email to just about every Rodale contact I could find online. Those who responded basically said it was not their problem. Others simply never responded even when I wrote back. Again, very big disappointment.

Super Motivation

Keeps me going

Beautiful

Beautifully designed, clear instructions and torching workouts

Worth the price!

Great, detailed and in-depth with useful animations

Terrible rip-off!

This app costs $2.99 and then its not even a workout app its an app that then "allows" you to purchase individual workouts! Totally disappointed! I was just looking for a comprehesive, all-in-one workout app and this isnt it. Brutal!

Ehh

Good app but it is total BS the app costs 2.99 and the workouts cost more money. Also needs to be available on iPhone. No one brings an iPad to the gym. You missed the boat on that one folks.

Great App

Very intersting with excellent graphics and descriptions!

Come on

Well you pay 2.99 for the option of paying 7.99 to subscribe to it... The app should be free. Most people can get by without this. I did subscribe and still no new workouts so how do I get my money back

Marginal

The workouts are good, Ive tried several for a few months such as Maximum Mass and V-shape, helps change up the gym routine. But the charts dont always match the exercises sets and reps need better quality control), and the frequency of publishing new workouts is slow. Worth trying but needs improvement, especially for a Mens Health publication.

Not worth it

First you pay the app and then you have to pay MORE for the exercises. This is ridiculous ! You really do not need this app to work out.

I had to pay for this?

I paid $1.99 to download this app only to find out that there are no workouts included. I have to pay extra to get the workouts. I like the app. Its laid out well and shows how the moves are done. Just be aware that after paying to download youll need to pay for a workout or a subscription.

Class action lawsuit waiting to happen

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen because its misleading in a way. You pay $1.99 for the app then you have to pay $8 a year for the workouts. Ill be contacting Apple to get a refund and to tell them to re-review this app to get it removed from the App Store.

The "privilege" for 1.99??

Dont buy....I cant believe 1) Mens Health would scam customers and put their reputation and name on this 2) Apple would allow it. Dont dont dont do it

Mens Health Training Guide not working with iOS 8.1

Ever since I updated my iPhone 6 plus to 8.1 I have been unable to use the Mens Health Training Guide. It loads to a blank screen. I deleted and reinstalled but that didnt fix the issue either. On top of that I cant even find an email address to send this complaint. Please fix ASAP!

Bait & Switch

Not nearly as good as the previous Mens Health workout app that is no longer supported. I bought this expecting something similar, but you only get three mediocre workouts, and have to buy additional ones for $0.99. The log, workouts, how to, and overall ease of using it are far inferior to the prior app. Look elsewhere for a decent workout.

Fail!!!!! Just a hook to buy more!

They just pretend to give you a lot of workout routines, by buying them . I just waisted $2 dollars in nothing

Backwards

Totally went backwards - ui is awful. Workouts are ok but you cant get to them and the homescreen doesnt give a description of the work out.

Let me get this straight

I pay 1.99 just to have to turn around and pay .99/workout on the off chance I get what I want!

I like the work outs but the app is terrible

The App needs customization options. It just serves as a conduit to view the actual workouts (which are generally good.)

Terrible waste of gym time.

Dont bother
